"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:11-12

God is My Defense
A verse that has been ministering to me today is Psalm 3:3. "But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head." It is a good reminder to me that the Lord is my defense - He is the one that goes before me in my "battles". I really thank the Lord that He is part of my life. He is always there for me.

This is so true. I have lived this verse quite a few times. Sometimes, I have forgotten it and have tried to be my own defender: it didn't work. It's when I remember that we are to "cast our cares upon Him" that I give it to him and let Him deal with the battle. We're not doing it against flesh and blood anyway. :)
Classic ~ That is so true. God has brought those verses to both Dawson's and my minds many times. Thank you for reminding me of those verses again!
That's right!
Praying for you.
